If you are an iced tea lover, you might want to consider Tea Forte’s ® new Tea-Over-Ice ™ system. They have issued a press release announcing this “new” system for what they call flash chilling of the tea.

What Tea Forte ® is pushing is their made for iced tea tea blends such as White Ginger Pear and Pomegranate Blackberry to be used with their “new” system. Yum! Those sound good.
However, I achieve this effect by simply brewing a pot or cup of tea and then pouring it right over a mug with ice. Guess I have been “flash chilling” all this time and didn’t know. Just knew no one else in the family drank iced tea at home and wanted to keep amounts made at a time down.

Hi! Glad to see that you think the pitchers look cool. The interesting thing about them is that they are perfectly sized for the flash-chilling process. The top pitcher brews an extra-concentrated tea (with the special Tea-Over-Ice infuser) and the bottom pitcher holds enough ice to chill and dillute the tea so that the flavor is exactly right for enjoyment.
In theory, you could do it yourself. Tea Forte makes sure that the proportions are perfect and that your iced teas experience is delicious! As you might be able to tell, I actually work with Tea Forte. But I’ve had the teas and they are incredible!
