It has been quite some time since I posted here. My site has gotten out of date and needs some revamping which I will try to get to soon.
In the meantime I want to start adding content here again and I’m going to start with this video from youtube for making some green tea ice cream using matcha green tea. She says it’s worthwhile to use a good quality green tea. Hope this video embed correctly in here. Enjoy.

Found this recipe for chai tea today. If you will remember, I linked to a blog that showed the making of chai tea a little while back with great photos of the process. However, no amounts were available of the ingredients in order to make your own if you had not before.
Our source today, Starwest Botanicals, lists not only the ingredients but gives the amounts for each one. Apparently, the recipe is from the Madhur Jaffrey’s Indian Cooking book put out by Barron’s in 1983. It is made with unscented loose black tea. The source also has some chai teas for sale if you are interested.
