The Coming of V8 V-Fusion + Tea Beverage

Campbell Soup Company released a press release telling of its latest V8 V-Fusion beverages. They each contain green tea as well as a serving of vegetables and fruit in 8 ounces.

Since the new beverages with green tea meet the American Heart Association criteria as a heart healthy drink, each bottle displays the heart-check mark. The drinks also contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives which is a good thing.

Clothes from Green Tea and Bacteria

Now I have seen everything. No way I would have thought this possible. A fashion designer, Suzanna Lee, has grown a biomaterial from a vat of green tea. With this method she can create seamless clothing or create sheets of material that are then sewn together to form clothes.

Depending upon how they create the green tea goop in the vat, they get a papery likke material or something more like a “vegetable leather”. Check out this webpage for some great pictures of the clothing already created even if it’s not commercially available yet.
